Architectural Control, Covenants, and Zoning:

Buildings and homes are a constant and obvious reflection of the success of any area’s development.  Non-compatible structures detract from both esthetic and economic community values.  The purpose of architectural control is to protect and enhance those vales as development of Perry Park progresses.

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PERRY PARK METRO DISTRICT!

Perry Park has 11 separate filings and one Architectural Control Committee for each of the filings.  Architectural control is administered by the Committees through a system of plan review and approval which is coordinated with Douglas County Building Requirements.

No building in Perry Park may be erected or altered until construction plans have been approved by the appropriate Architectural Control Committee and the required driveway and building permits obtained from Douglas County.

There is no single covenant document for the entire Perry Park Area.  Because there are 11 separate filings there are 11 differing (though similar) covenants for each of the filings.  To determine which covenants apply to your home, you need to review the covenant specific to your filing.  The covenant documents should be a part of your closing package.

Any zoning questions should be referred to the Douglas County Zoning Board.

 

Home Owners Association Information:

There is NO Home Owner’s Association for the single family homes in Perry Park.  The condominium developments, however, DO have HOA’s which can be contacted as indicated below:
