Rabid Skunk Discovered in Perry Park

The Tri County Health Department has confirmed that a rabid skunk was found recently in Perry Park.  A resident’s dogs encountered the skunk and were repeatedly sprayed by the skunk, and they subsequently killed the skunk.  A necropsy was completed, and the skunk tested positive for rabies.
