Street Paving in Perry Park through July and August

July 6, 2018

By now most residents should have received a mailer notifying of Douglas County’s plan to repair the paved roads throughout Perry Park starting on July 9th.

The county will first remove the top layer of asphalt through roto-tilling, followed by laying down new asphalt. The county Department of Public Works has provided a schedule and a website where they will be tracking progress of the construction:

The plan is to start in the back of the park and move toward the front. According to the website the following streets should expect construction the week of July 9 – 13:

  • Apache Drive /Apache Place
  • Fox Circle / Fox Court / Fox Way
  • Kiowa Road
  • Osage Road
  • Pike Circle / Pike Place
  • Torrey Pines Drive
  • Winged Foot Court

Please be aware that all cars need to be off of the street during paving. If your vehicle is parked on the street it may be towed!.

If you would like to call the county with questions about this effort, please contact Daniel R. Roberts, (Capital Projects Engineer IV) at 303.663.6284 or email him at
