As you may have seen in this month’s Sentinel, after almost 15 years (6 in key board positions), Walt Korinke has stepped down from the Perry Park Metro District board. Additionally, Jim Cassidy stepped down following our December meeting and Chris Korinke has agreed to delay his resignation until the board is able to identify and appoint new members to these now three vacant positions.
What is involved in being a part of the PPMD Board? From a formal time requirement, 11 meetings a year, special events, and available personal time on various projects. Our web site (PerryPark.org) does a pretty good job of telling our story. From managing mitigation and safety from fires to the July 4th activities, we work to keep Perry Park a great place to live.
Interested and a resident of Perry Park? Please email the board at INFO@PerryPark.org or you can leave a message on our voice mailbox at (720) 443-0830. Our plan is to meet with interested candidates over the next month and make appointments for these three vacant positions at a special meeting of the board in late January. This meeting will be announced on our website as well as via the usual sign postings.
